Kheiron Medical was founded in 2016 by Dr. Peter Kecskemethy and Tobias Rijken with the sole focus of supporting the work of breast radiologists with machine learning software. 

Our team brings together some of the best minds in technology and radiology, including deep learning experts and engineers from the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, McGill, KTH, University College London (UCL) and Imperial College, and leading clinical academics and radiologists from across Europe.

Chris Mairs

Chris is an active angel investor and Venture Partner at Entrepreneur First. He was previously chairman of Magic Pony Technology, acquired by Twitter for a reported $150M. 

Chris co-founded Metaswitch Networks where he was CTO for many years. He is a fellow of the Royal Academy of engineering, an honorary fellow of Churchill College Cambridge and a trustee of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. In 2014, Chris was awarded a CBE in the New Year Honours List.

Sitar is the Managing Partner at Connect Ventures, a seed stage fund that started in 2012 and has invested in over 40 companies, including Citymapper, OurPath, Typeform and TrueLayer.

Prior to Connect, she was at Doughty Hanson Technology Partners for 7 years, where she led that firm's Series A investment in SoundCloud.

Mukhtar Ahmed

Mukhtar has served within the biopharmaceutical industry for almost 2 decades, holding executive positions with global clinical research companies. 

Mukhtar builds and grows private-equity backed technology companies that specialise in the life sciences & healthcare industries. He is President of Life Sciences at Clarivate Analytics and led the global life sciences product and healthcare consulting businesses for Oracle. Mukhtar served as a non-executive director for NHS trusts and is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
